Pilgrim Congregational UCC, Chattanooga celebrated its 50th anniversary,
September 27th. Former pastor David Beebe spoke for the event, and reminded
Pilgrim of it's a unique role in Chattanooga as a liberal inclusive church. Beebe
reminded the church that "the broad issues today are how to be faithful to Jesus,
injustice issues, in care for this planet, in laboring for peace, in remembering that
the God who came in Jesus Christ loves the whole world and walks among us."
